N Solstice Sumitra (aka, Sumi)

Sumi is the leader of the girls, although she rarely strays far from her best friend and sister, Lia. Her color mixture is a medium brown and true black. She is also a seasoned momma, previously having three cria while at Northern Solstice. Her daughter, Adelaide lives with our friends at Blue Alpaca Ranch in Belfast, Maine. Sumi often prefers not to be approached by people, but she can be enticed to eat grain out of hand, when the mood suits her. Sumi was bred to a true black alpaca named Cooper in 2016 and gave birth to Nacho in July of 2017.

Sumi is eligible for our Adopt-An-Alpaca Program and as an independent gal, she is best suited for a patient adult.
